Default Stuck master cylinder

I wanted to change my brake master cylinder yesterday. After removing the 3 brake lines and 2 nuts, the damn thing wouldn't come out. It's not stuck to the booster. I can wiggle it. What can be holding it?

I remember (I think) doing an NA and it just pulled out. Now removing the pedal pin is necessary for just the master and not the booster? I can't see where the pushrod would attach to the master. It appears to just fit in there. I'm stumped and I put the car back together. I want to understand what I'm doing before I try again. My stupid Haynes manual says just pull it out.

Yeah I misread, if you’re not removing the booster, it should come right out. You’re most likely rusted to the push rod in the booster.

It's always pissed me off when an op doesn't come back and post if they solved a problem. So I'm back. The pushrod was corroded into the mc due to the mc leaking at the rear. I just loosened the nuts, till they were on by a few threads and hit the area with blaster. After about 5 minutes I just stomped on the brake pedal and it popped loose. It was just a matter of changing it normally after that.
