Pulled from a '99 in Florida, hauled across the country, and now I have no project car to put it in.



As you can see, the bellhousing section of this transmission is liberally covered in ultra-rare 10AE filth and grime, leaked from the valve cover gasket and rear main seal of an actual 10AE engine. I've preserved it in this pristine condition for the new sucker (er... owner) to admire and enjoy.

Seriously though. Includes shifter, the rubber boot around which needs replacing. Not in the picture, but I also have the electronic speedo sensor for it if you want it.

First $800 grabs it, plus actual shipping by the reasonable carrier of your choice. Reasonable means that I'm not driving all the way to ******* Chulajuana to drop this thing off at Sanchez Bros. Freight & Lettuce Co.

i had a friend looking for one a few months back. i'll hit him up to see if he still wants it.

The six-speed has a higher final drive ratio than the five-speed, meaning that it's intended for use with lower R&P ratios. The stock R&P in the cars which got the six-speed transmission was, in fact, the 3.9.

 

I think I want this. Do you know the mileage on this thing?

 

I don't. The interior of the car I got it from had already been gutted, so no odometer reading.

 

Got a few nibbles, but nobody has actually committed to buy yet.

I have a Koenigsegg CCX and i'm interested in trading it plus cash because it doesn't have the Top Gear wing.

 

The transmission is gone.

Still have a set of 3.636 gears, and of course, the '99 engine lying around. All surplus Miata-related parts must go!
