Default NB6 to JDM 1.8 swap question

I'v been reading up on the changes required for the 1.6 to 1.8 swaps, and would like to confirm I am heading in the right direction. I currently have: 1999 JDM NB6, running FM 2 turbo system, with a MegasqurtPNP2 for control. It looks to me like my NB6 intake CAS, and CPS and wiring should be a direct swap to the BP4W engine, making this a pretty simple swap in my case, and avoiding the extra dicking around with the VCTS . Like just about all of us, I like to dream about more future power, and garage fun, even tho my current 1.6 makes great power, and has no issues. This is a slow plan for some future swap, and if my assumptions are correct, I will start looking for the right BP4W candidate. I see some JDM engine sellers list both the 1.6, and 1.8 for the 1999-00 years, so again assume that both engines were available in Japan for those years, correct? Wanting to confirm that the JDM 1.8's listed are the BP4W, and not something else. Thanks for helping in my education!

For clarity, here's my engine, which has the front mounted CAS, and CPS which looks to be the same bits as the BP4W.

They are indeed the same; you can reuse your harness.
