I pulled apart my throttle body today to clean it up, it’s been sitting for several months as I finish my build.

I had to drill out the butterfly screws as they were stripped and in addition was wondering if I needed to replace the butterfly shaft seals as shown. If I do, where can I get some? I can’t find any parts for the throttle body other than the gasket and tps online. Thanks for any help.

 

If I were you I would stop what you are doing and buy a throttle body you haven't screwed up yet. You don't find parts because it's not necessary to rebuild them. They break and trash engines all the time, even without someone mangling the non-removable staked screws by drilling on it.

 

Oh man, I thought they were just knurled for airflow... I didn’t realize they were staked and the valve was non-serviceable. That sucks. Thanks for the help.
