So we are almost finished putting a poopy turbo on our kart and need to start thinking about tuning this pig. We picked up Fishdog kit from SpeedyEFI and got the harness done.
I have talked to two people so far that either haven't heard of speeduino or just don't want to work with it. I'm not too deep in the local scene and unfortunately those were the two guys my friends could recommend.

So, anyone know anyone in Denver or Colorado that is known to work with our cheap *** computer solution?

From a tuning standpoint, or a software standpoint, How is speeduino different from MS?
They both run Tunerstudio. As far as I can tell it's a hardware difference.

 

There seems to be this misconception that if it uses Tunerstudio the software is the same... Tunerstudio is just a controller interface program. Both the hardware and software on the SpeedyEFI are different to MS. I can't tell you the specific differences in software though since I haven't used a SpeedyEFI controller.

 

I run a megasquirt 3X on my miata. I run a speeduino on my turbo F-150. As you noted the hardware is completely different. That also makes the firmware and features different. Really the only thing they have in common is the tuning interface. The menus are still going to be different.

The interface does make them similar enough IMO that if you can tune one you can tune the other without much headache. I can see why a pro would rather not bother though.
