Non 99 VVT engine into 01 issues?

Non 99 VVT engine into 01 issues?
I see a lot of great info on here about the VVT swap into earlier cars, but not so much about putting a 99 non VVT into my 01.
I am learning as I go BTW and no, I am not switching heads, I have 230,000 on the VVT and a lot less on my salvaged 99. Specifically, will the stock ECU run the non VVT and Does the 99 block accept the 4 bolt 01 engine mount brackets? for now
planning to install the 99 into the car without the turbo at first, make sure its running correctly then install the New ecu, turbo and injectors. I welcome suggestions and insight
