Default Supermiata Upper Ball Joint Boot f##% install

Tore 2 boots that come with SM upper ball joint kit. Anyone have a recommendation for a right size tool - PVC, 12pt socket other voodoo prayer - ordered replacement set to start over. There has to be a proper tool that work. thanks

Oh, man. This is great.

I got an email back from SM saying that the boots slide in and just held by the knuckle. I don't think it's the case given the boot has a metal ring imbedded in the boot and similar to OEM needs to pop over the body to sit in place.

Will give the FM took a try. Great find

Uploading a video to help you out. You don't need a special tool.

Isn't needed. Pops on with your fingers. I think Stevos555 is trying to pull the boot over the snap ring groove. Snap ring goes below the FUCA of course, not above it. The boot sits below that and easily snaps on the shelf below that. Ed just shot a brief video to clarify. Will upload in a bit.
