I have a msm with the big enchilada pakage and i ordered a Act clutch kit zm2-hdr6 and i was not sure about the flywheel... the car i still a street weekend car and i got do some lapping once a week.

I read that some setup in the traffic may be a pain to deal with... so i may be better with the streetlite version that weight 13.9lbs or i go yolo with the prolite version with a weight of 9.4lbs ??

Two person told me to go with the prolite and that its not that bad but when i search on the forum the opinion is kind of divised..

Whether using a light weight flywheel in traffic is painfull or not is very subjective..

fwiw, I’ve had a 10lb flywheel for 10 years and have no issues in traffic, though admittedly I don’t drive mine much in traffic..

 

I've run both and prefer the pro. I felt like the 13-14 lb flywheels didn't feel much different than an OEM one. The prolite isn't too bad to street drive and you get used to it pretty quickly. My car spends more miles on track than on the street so I'm more willing to sacrifice daily-ability than most, which is probably why you've read so many mixed feedback. I might have an extra prolite flywheel sitting around that I'd be up to sell, PM if interested.

 

The flywheel makes way less difference in drivability than the clutch choice. Not super familiar with that particular clutch kit for daily use. Considering the clutch you picked is labeled as a race puck clutch with an unsprung hub, the ship has sailed for being decent to drive in traffic.

Do you need a puck clutch to hold the power you're running?

The Supermiata 1.8 Sport clutch holds 290 ft lbs (crank) with a full face disc. OEM-like engagement. The puck is still drivable but notably more aggressive.
