Just purchased a 99-00 mspnp2 ECU off of ebay for about $200 under msrp. However I do not own a 99-00 Miata, I have a 1994 miata. Before I go to the trouble and wallet pain of trying to sell/trade my ECU for the proper one would it work with some re-wiring or would it just blow up/get fried?

 

This has been asked many many times. The standard answer is if you're having to ask if it can be done then you shouldn't attempt it.

Sell it and buy the right one for your chassis.
