In serch of replacement for my built BP4W head.
After many years of use lots of track lap records and SSM autocross wins. I believe my cylinder head has developed a crack again.
Symtoms indicate coolant escaping into the top of the valve train area when warm and coolant up to pressure and under load with high cylinder pressures. blowing steam into the breather system and small amounts of coolant disappearing. looses about a cup of coolant for 6 runs on autocross and I wouldn't want to even try a track session with it like this. I had been limping it allong knowing there was a problem but it is slowly getting worse. I have had this happen before and it was a crack near one of the head stud bosses.
Motor is a built 2.0L stroker.
BP4W head was ported by Replikamaschinen long ago.
has 1mm oversized valves, Inconel on the exhaust and the Intake are I believe 1st gen Supertec that never experienced all the problems others have had with the seat areas.
Has shim under bucket lifters with heavy dual Supertech springs.
I spin this thing over 8500 rpm to avoid shifting for autocrsoss events and it makes 400hp with full boost.
What options are there currently to have someone reputable rebuild or replace such a head?
