Default Manifold Ceramic Coating on a Kraken Top Mount?

I just got a Kraken top mount manifold and down pipe for the EFR 6258, which I'll be putting on my 02 street only NB. I'm interested in the groups opinion as to weather to ceramic cost the manifold and down pipe? My goal would be to improve the longevity of the manifold and down pipe and to keep under hood temps under control. Is the cost worth benefit?

Thanks

I believe it helps.
The coating should help more if applied to the inside of the manifold/down pipe as well as the outside.
Inside helps keep the heat out of the parts, this should increase part life. Outside keeps the heat in the parts but reduces temperatures inside the engine compartment.

I avoid "turbo blankets" or header blankets/wraps until after the mid pipe/cat and then the header wrap does an awesome job keeping heat out of the tub.
The wrap insulates too well to use where the exhaust is the hottest. It will trash steel tubing quickly and it will trash SS tubing a bit later.

I also believe dedicated heat shields with airflow paths are essential. Doesn't need massive airflow but you don't want stagnate air between the shield and the hot parts.
