Default 1.6 NA 3.9 diff swap

Guys, I own a 1991 1.6 NA, in the process of restoring and doing a mk turbo setup. I just purchased a 3.9 torsen diff with the axles, will a normal 94-2005 driveshaft work with the 5 speed transmission?, am I missing something?

Welcome to MT.net! Don't forget to do a post in the meet and greet section ... and we lurve a build thread!

Yes, a 5-speed prop shaft will do it - all the long-nose diffs are the same dimensionally. However, the 5-speed is even weaker than the 6-speed, you'd be better off in the long run biting that bullet now. Those 6-speeds are not getting any cheaper, going rate here is $2k and they are only going to go in one direction as more and more get broken.
