Default FM intercooler and piping with mkturbo kit?

Weighing my options with a turbo kit. Really like the price/idea of the mkturbo kit, but i really hate the IC setup. Seems a little janky, reading that lots of guys remove PS and or AC to make it easier to run. I'd like to keep AC but i will be removing PS and hopefully finding myself a standalone pulley so i can take the pump out. Just wondering if anyone has ever successfully rigged a flyin miata intercooler and piping kit to an mkturbo hot side.

Don't see a reason why not.
I have seen it being used with all sorts of log manifolds and kraken versions.
Best thing about it is it's trimmable and flexible.

Thats what i was thinking. Only real issue i can come up with is it looks as if the MKTurbo manifold seats the turbo slightly further forward (as in toward the radiator), and a little higher than the FM kit does. If i remember correctly FM kit has you notch the body a little bit at the bottom of the right strut tower to fit the compressor outlet/intercooler piping, which i would not be opposed to.
