Default FM lightweight flywheel resurface?

Picked up a used FM stage 1 happy meal kit with 25k miles on it for cheap - I wanted it just for the lightweight flywheel, but now that I have cleaned it up I noticed some scratching around it along with hotspots - is this still fine to resurface and mate with new clutch, bearings and PP? The PP and clutch don't look too bad either but I only want to drop the transmission once this year lol

Thanks,

Awesome good to know I didn't just throw away $$. I'll be taking it to a machine shop tonight and will keep this updated. Thanks!

Update: local machine shop took it in and will get it done! I'll be picking it up Monday.

Did they pull the pins and take off an equivalent amount off the pp mounting surfaces?

Yep, they had to heat it up to get the pins out - pain in the *** for them but they knew how to do the job right.

Good. Those are stubborn because of the relatively large dia and high interference. I have a collet type puller which takes them out.
