Default Did I damage my piston ring?

This is my first time putting an engine together and everything makes me a little bit nervous.
I was grinding my piston rings down when I flipped over the top ring to file the burr and saw some scuffs on the bottom face. I can't feel anything with my fingernail, but it doesn't look great. Am I good to run this ring, or should I get another set?

That won't affect anything. Run it.

Are those chamfers on the outer corners?

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you.

Yes, I think they look a little more aggressive than they were in real life just due to the camera quality. I've read in a bunch of places that it helps prevent scratching the bores. And this ring wasn't completely filed down yet, so the left side chamfer had to change some more.
