AE enrichment problems NA 1.6L 92 MS3PNP
I'm having issues tuning AE i've got my VE table and afr targets down but i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong so that when I blip my throttle its not instant and its a slight hesitation when doing so sometimes i stall when letting off the clutch trying to give it gas since it has a hesitation. I'm not sure if its because my tps is very noisy as at sometimes it can go to -20 tps or up to 5 tps? I've attatched my tune and a short log of me blipping the throttle.
It's that huge lean spike when you blip the throttle that's is the root of your problems. Solve that, and you will have a better driving experience.
Now...how to do that? First, if you suspect that your TPS is glitchy, then relying solely on that for AE only will make things sketchy (although the TPS signal looks reasonably stable in your log). Second, the values you are using in the TPSdot table are WAY lower than what I use - by a factor of 3 or 4. Since you have such a big lean spike you might want to bump those up by at least double and see what happens. Third, you might want to turn on "Use MAPdot" as a way to fine-tune the results you get from increasing the TPSdot table.
And, if you really feel adventurous - AFTER you get the TPSdot and MAPdot values close enough - you might think about entering the world of EAE. But that is not for the faint of heart.
