I have a 96 with a vvt swap. I wired up from the 3 wire in the ack of the na, to the stock COP nb2 while following the instructions. I am getting no spark. my coil gets extremely hot for some reason. with MS, I can do the spark test, I can hear it turn on and off, but there is no spark, tried different spark plugs just in case. I evn purchased new COP but no luck. I have not messed with any settings on MS except for spark mode to NB, which doesnt even matter because I can do the test spark but just in case

 

Just solved a similar issue by swapping power/ground at the coil, check if yours are backwards.
