Default Where to find reliable stock replacement calipers

Over the last 5 years I've had to replace the port side rear caliper once and the starboard side three times due to seal leaks, dragging and one just completely locked up while driving.

My ebrake has needed adjustment for months and I finally got around to it yesterday. The starboard side adjuster screw never gets tight and leaks fluid after removing the protective cap. I was able to adjust the port side properly but it also leaks fluid when the protective cap is removed. I've also been having issues with the starboard side sticking on when the ebrake is released, the cable is slack but the lever on the caliper sticks. It releases if I reach behind the wheel and pull on it. These are about 2 years old.

I know they worked properly and didn't leak when I installed them and I followed the correct adjustment procedure when they were new + pressure bled them.

Does anybody know what brand has some quality stock replacement calipers? I'm getting tired of doing this.

The general quality of aftermarket parts lately has been ****. I've had to send back several new moog suspension parts for my jeep that were machined wrong. Like a tie rod end that had no taper and a steering linkage end that was just a smooth rod missing all the threads.

Pretty typical, stock ones will last 30+ years, reman ones maybe 1-2. I can’t help, as I work in the industry and the struggle is real, but hopefully someone here knows of a particular brand that has a better rep? Or start looking for 03-05 stock calipers of a part-out (newest year)

I can offer nothing other than commiseration, I had a little rant about parts quality myself a few weeks back. Moss Miata sells new manufacture 1.8 brakes, but I have heard some complaints about the quality of those as well.

At least I have what seems to be a decent set of reman calipers on my car at this point. The first right rear reman I bought had the handbrake adjuster constantly loosen. I replaced it after a few years of annoyance with that. Next time I have an issue with them, I will attempt rebuilding myself rather than risk getting another bad reman. I've rebuilt plenty of standard slider calipers, but the complication of the handbrake mechanism, and the rebuild kits being the same price as reman calipers, had previously driven me away from a DIY rebuild.

I just went through three reman RR calipers over the span of five days...
The caliper my car had a week ago (also a reman because I didn't know any better two years ago) started leaking from the parking brake adjuster, so I took it in to get a warrantied replacement.
I got the new caliper back home, and the bracket doesn't fit. Like the caliper bracket is touching the rotor when everything is tightened down, the wheel won't move.
I go back and get another replacement, same thing happens again. Finally, I go to my competing parts store who also had one in stock (looks identical except the branding), bought theirs, put it on fingers crossed and it worked. I'm positive this was dumb luck.
I took the crappily cast caliper back and wiped my hands of the thing. What a nightmare, finding a half decent caliper. Like Curly said, my previous one only worked for two years.
