I was wondering if anybody out there still had their china charger that came with the mk turbo kit. I was curious how many years and miles they were good for. Mine is 7 years old and has maybe 35k on it. Except where I stripped a bolt it seems to work as well as it always has. What can I expect when it starts to die? Loosing boost, blowing oil, both? Thanks.

 

I honestly have no idea on the lifespans. Generally I don't hear back from people, so I assume they keep working in most cases. Maybe 5% of customers follow up later looking for a replacement turbo.

 

Agreed, not pushing it too hard is probably the best advice.
