Default oil leak before engine starts

fresh 1.9 bp4w block/head, wasnt building oil pressure after ~ 1 min cranking w/ main relay out and coils/plugs (flowforce r8) out and disconnected. decided to backfill the oil feed line, which lead to an oil leak seemingly from the back of the head (oil pressure sender where i t'd off for the oil feed is dry). any idea where this leak could be coming from? the an feed line doesn't have any visible leaks and is seemingly dry but I have no ******* clue how oil could get to the head if the car hasn't built pressure (verified via ext oil pressure gauge and OEM). oil feed line ate ~ 1/2 quart before i noticed the leak, car is full w/ 4 qt and dipstick still reads that the pan is full.

That’s a 1/8bspt port, same as the oil pressure sender on the side of the block.
