Default Seeking Info on Old Time FM Intercooler

Hi All,

I'm currently running this intercooler which I got when I purchased what I have come to gather is a very old (circa 2000) Flyin Miata kit. I've found one thread discussing this intercooler, but it's just about how it's mounted.

This has been modified slightly since this photo was taken.

Basically, I'm curious if anyone has run this intercooler, what kind of power they were able to make on it, and if/when it became a restriction for them.

Yeah that is super old Begi/FM intercooler. Not sure where it will start being inefficient for power and heat. I am plenty sure I saw people get to the limits of a stock motor with it though.

Good to know. Virtual Dyno seems to keep me right around 180 HP, even when I'm turning the boost up. I did wonder if the Intercooler was only designed to run a lower amount of boost.

I'm sure I'll upgrade at some point given that my engine's built, but that's a good data point for the time being.
