Default Car wont see past 70kpa

Hello All,

I recently installed my MSPNP Pro in my 1999 miata. I fired it up, and attempted to take it for a few test drives with autotune running, and my friend and I noticed that the car at WOT would lean out. We then noticed that It was not going past 70kpa. Has anyone else had this issue? is it a mechanical issue? I was thinking it could be a vacuum leak, or maybe the car is simply not getting enough fuel, or even the location for my vacuum to ECU might be in a wrong spot. Thoughts?

What's the elevation in your location? If you live at ~6,000ft or higher you probably won't see more than 70kpa due to lower ambient air pressure.

I live below 6000 ft, pretty much close to sea level lol, so I dont know if this is the issue.

What does the MAP read when you turn the key on but the car isn't running?

You're showing 69.7 kPa with the engine off which means either that is the atmospheric pressure in your location or you have the wrong MAP sensor calibration loaded. If you are sea level then I'm guessing your MAP sensor calibration is wrong.

The value you're seeing with the key on and the car not running should be the max KPA you'll see on a naturally aspirated engine. For example I'll usually see around 90 KPA here at 2700 feet above sea level.

Checking the MAP sensor calibration like J1000 mentioned is a good idea.

I'm going to take a guess here that you loaded someone else's tune, and that tune is for a 2.5bar MAP sensor while the ms3 you have has a 4bar MAP sensor.

I looked into it and I believe y'all are correct! I changed around my MAP Sensor and it fixed the issue. My only question is is I should run with this or start from scratch on another basemap?

Also for context my previous MAP was calibrated on the MPX4250
