RPF1 15x8 +28 What Tire Size is Best Tire Size
Hey guys, I posted this on Miata Net also. I can't help but feel dirty for double dipping. Yet here I am.
I just ordered the Meister R Sport Z coils. Aside from that everything is stock. I am prepared to have a smidge of camber.
And finally, anything I read tells me I will most likely need to roll my fenders. Having said all this, I prefer the 195/50/r15 look (and thought of less fender rolling).
What would you do? Any words of wisdom? Tires alone will cost at least $900 Canadian. Your knowledge and experience could save me a lot of pain and wasted money.
I am considering the Potenza RE-71RS, however, I can only find them in 205/50/r15. Is the look going to be that much "heavier"? I will say my wheels are black and my car is black, so it won't stick out that much.

What is the purpose of your tire selection? Street? Hpde? AutoX? Are you building for a class? Or fun? FWIW I have 225s on my 15x8s, but I also have a new set of rims & tires - 245s on 15x10s.
if you’re building for track, you want the section width of the tire to be the same width as the rim.
