Default Turbo oil feed for VVT motor

I've been having a hard time finding good info on how long of a line I need for my turbo oil feed. I'm planning to T off of the oil pressure sender (unless there is a better way besides a sandwich plate). I've got an IHI RHF5 turbo on the mazdaspeed exhaust manifold, so it's just mazdaspeed turbo location, but I don't have the oil gallery plugs like the mazdaspeed and the early 1.6L motors.

Flyin' miata has a kit for it, but the line they provide is 56" long which seems like way too much. I can't say for sure because I can't really get behind my motor to be able to measure properly, but a rough estimate tells me I would only need like 30-32" of line to reach the turbo.

If anyone has any recommendations or ideas I'd really appreciate it.

Use a string to measure it.
