So, I have a 4.10 torsen diff, and a 3.63 fuji diff.

Can the torsen unit be swapped into the 3.63 setup to replace the fuji? Would i need to reset all the pinion depths and preloads and everything?

I didn't realize until today that my 3m63 came with a fuji, and how troublesome they seem to be with good power and sticky tires. Kinda bummed, but looking for a good path forward.

 

Yes they can be swapped, if you leave the pinion alone and just swap the LSD unit the pinion depth will be fine, but you’ll need to reset the backlash.
