Default Random Bogging. Help pls

Don’t have any logs for you guys right now.

1990 Miata, speedy efi, t3 turbo. If you need any more info let me know please

drove to my girlfriends house and the car was driving like normal for 25 mins on the highway. Then now the car is bogging really bad. You get on the accelerator and it just makes noise and bogs while the rpms and mph stay the same. The turbo also seems to spool up a bit while it’s bogging lol. I can barely keep up with traffic so I’m a little stressed for getting back home which is 40 mins.

I pulled each plug cable to ensure they’re working and they are. The spark plugs are gapped to like .028? Can’t remember but they’re pretty new maybe 3-4k miles but I will still pull them to see.

maybe the tps? I think I need to recalibrate it because the car engine brakes way too early so I think that needs to be adjusted.

What else can it be? It happened so randomly I’m kinda lost and stressed. Any help appreciated

Do your AFRs look normal? Maybe a sensor failed or jiggled loose and is causing weird fueling behavior?

Is it only under acceleration or during steady state as well?

this is a video of me trying to go home and being unsuccessful.

car can’t move more than 6 feet without dying. You press on the gas and it doesn’t move. I don’t know what else to do. Afr gauge is horribly unreliable and aem won’t respond to my emails to help. But it was working on the first attempt and I think it went very lean. Idle was at 12-13 which is kinda normal and then right before I stalled I think I saw 23.0. Fuel pump issue?

Does it drive fine in reverse still? That's what it looked like in the video. It looked like it was idling fine as well?

Hard to say without a log or any real diagnostic. I had a fuel pump fail on me once but it wouldn't even prime. Did you peek around in the engine bay? Does anything look out of the ordinary?

Post a log and tune, otherwise we’re all guessing.

I went through everything and when I pulled the fuel pump I saw the hose was disconnected. Seems like the guy who installed them never really tightened the clamps down so I reconnected it and inserted the hose again and the car is driving stronger now lol so who knows how long this has been a thing wasting fuel pressure

That's why I always install a fuel pressure sensor on my builds, no more guessing with something so important.

The more common issue is using non-submersible hose in the tank, or using worm clamps that slice into the hose, especially when it swells a little. Even if it is submersible hose, consider it a consumable and replace it any time the fuel pump is out. On race cars I'll zip tie an extra piece somewhere close to the FP so I always have a spare. NA's also have a cup you have to cut off to clamp the hose onto, sometimes it isn't long enough to get a decent connection.
