Default AEM 30-4110 wideband not reading right.

I just put a turbo in my 1994 miata and i think my sensor has failed even though i just got it. It has the proper calibration in tuner studio. The white wire is connected to the ecu and reads in tuner studio but it reads way off than what the gauge says. It originally was off maybe 2.0 max and my tuner used his own sensor at the end of the exhaust to tune off and it runs great and tuner studio doesnt say its running lean nor does it act like it is. But my gauge itself reads way lean now like it should be blowing up or not running but it runs fantastic. My question is, is my gauge broken or is it the wideband O2 sensor. also should i trust the tuner studio over the gauge itself as of right now? Also my gauge is at p00 for the calibration on the gauge itself.
