Default Miata DIY Bilsteins Built to Suit

I’m offering custom-tailored sets of what the community refers to as “DIY Bilsteins.” The shocks shown in the first photo are the exact units you’ll receive. I’ve built dozens of these and run them on my own endurance car, and I have a wide selection of springs available. I can help you dial in the perfect spring rates for your needs.

Suggested setups:

• Street: 325/550

• AutoX: 600/800

• Track: 550/800

Each set arrives ready to bolt on, complete with trimmed bump stops, NB top hats, and brand-new 5X Racing sleeves and conversion nuts (a $210 value on their own).

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I can send over some pictures as well

Note: Shipping is additional.

You might try moving this to a classifieds page. I'm all for making a little money on the side, but you'll need to post prices and pics, required by the rules in the classifieds. Once it's moved there of course.

I'm honestly having some difficulty imaging myself doing anything other than a deletion here, and then maybe deciding whether to ban him or not afterwards.

@Magix shows up a few days ago, contributes nothing of substance, and is now hawking custom-valved shocks. We don't know jack **** about you, and while it's entirely possible that you may be an experienced suspension tuner who simply doesn't know how to post a photo after having written "The shocks shown in the first photo are the exact units you’ll receive," it's just as likely that you are just some random ******* who read some **** written by Shaikh A. or one of the other folks who pioneered this technique 15 years ago and is now hoping to make a quick buck. EDIT: Oh, not even that... See below.

MiataTurbo actually has an official process by which we extort folks who wanna legitimately sell **** to our members for a tiny amount of money, which we are totally not going to blow on lap-dances (it's not that much money) basically just as a means of gatekeeping the folks who are serious about serving this market vs. everyone else.

For now, this thread stays where it is, and Magix needs to make a case for why he belongs here on MT. Once I sober up (it could be a few days), there will be either a thread-move or a perma-ban.

I mean, not even a picture of a friggin' kitten, man...

I'm pretty sure they aren't custom valved. Just OTS billies on custom spring rates.

Not that this is a bad thing. But little suspension expertise is needed to put them together. Selling kits is a good idea, I think SM even toyed with the idea. They are kind of a PITA to source all the parts to put together - though I enjoyed building mine.

Whether or not this is allowed here is a whole nother question!
