Default Anybody have a electric GReddy Boost Gauge?

I need to know the wire colors so I can plug it into an Emanage boost sensor port like any other MAP we might use.

+ 5 volt?
Sensor output?
Ground?

If no one has done this and has the gauge, I would appreciate you identifying the +5 volt and ground at the back of the gauge were the sensor plugs in.

Thanks

It reads the documentation on the website: http://www.greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/702.pdf

If I recall correctly, the wiring for the cable that the MAP sensor connects to is:
Red = +5
Black = GND
White = signal

That makes sense, but then again it's GReddy.:gay:

The link only shows the hookup for the meter; I went there first before bothering you guys.

Yup- I verified the wiring colors. Assuming the gauge is wired the same as the EMU, then when viewed from the back such that the polarizing tabs on the connector are up, the pins from left to right are white (signal) - red (+5) - black (GND).

I take it you're sharing one MAP sensor between the gauge and EMB?

Thanks.

Nope, I bought just the gauge sender replacement for a GReddy gauge(PN16400060) which has to be a MAP sensor with the same scale as the GReddy pressure sensor(I think).

If it works out, it is a cheaper way to get a pressure sensor reading on the EMB that reads boost correctly when logging. I'll post the final result.

UPDATE: Above wire colors correct, but the pressure sensor is 2.5 BAR. The one that would work is the 3.0KG/cm2 for the warn gauges, but this cost is about the same as the Emanage pressure sensor and not worth the effort to try to save the money.

It's only just now occurred to me for some reason, but I wonder if you could rescale the output of the MAP sensor to satisfy the EMB.

The only trick might be the zero-level. On the common 2bar sensors, 0 PSI (absolute) = 0 volts, whereas on the Greddy 4bar it's 0.5V. So attenuate with a resistor pad and then offset with an op-amp I suppose. Not really an effective solution in terms of time vs. money, but a fun experiment perhaps.
