Is there any reason not to do this? Mine are glazed over from heavy braking, especially the rear pads. I drove around with the E-brake on for a while one day trying to tune using the e brake to load the motor at low RPMs and the back breaks have been pretty much useless sense. I know, not smart. I thought since I had slotted and cross drilled rotors they'd stay cool. Lesson learned.

So besides the fact that it nose dives every time I stop cause the rear brakes are doing little, the e-brake sucks too. It has tons of slack in it. From what I've read I think you just use an Allen wrench to adjust the rear calipers till the bolt binds, then back it out 2/3rds of a turn. Sound right? Any other ways to go about this?

 

tighten allen till you can't spin the rotor easily. then back out like 1/4-1/2 a turn
