For those who want to play with some different spring rates in your GC or Fatcat setup, or even use cheap ebay collars with good springs, AFCO has some good deals on springs.
I picked up some 400 lb 8 inchers for my fronts for $55 shipped for the pair.

I'm seriously considering taking the current Teins out of my car and trying a new suspension; the problem is, I've got no clue about which suspensions (for a change!) so I would need some suggestions.
Can anyone offer any? What springs should I order from their site if I decide to use theirs?
I've got the FCM bumpstops already in my car and had been planning on buying springs and shocks.
Thanks

Rafa, you change things on your car more than a professional race team, but you don't have the fulltime crew doing it for you. I swear your car has to spend more time in the shop then you driving it. What don't you like about the Tein's for heck sake?

Actually, you'd be surprised about how much I've gotten to drive my car lately without going to the shop!
In fact, I still haven't installed the Roll Bar I bought from keinayo because I don't want to spend a couple of days without driving it. The thing is: I want my car to be not only fast as it is these days (in large part due to your assistance!
) but also comfortable to drive around town and we have shitty roads and streets. One of these days I'm going to go out with the camera and take some pics of the streets just for kicks. On to your question about the Teins; I find them too stiff for regular city daily driving and I don't get enough cushion when they rebound (specially the rear ones). You tend to forget I'm old, lol.
In my book, a fun car to drive is one that you feel like it's performing what you expect from it all around. It's not only about the engine.
At least I now know something I didn't know when I started this: it will take me longer than I thought but I'll get the car to drive as I like. lol
