OK well I have the motor out and I am keeping it mostly stock just going to do rods and I have head work done. I wanted to know whit all the stuff I have will I be able to hit 300whp or will I need other stuff like bigger turbo or what not.

List of all the stuff I have and done

Ported and polished head and chamber
Fm1 kit with gt2554r turbo
Forge dv
New rings and new eagle rods
Full 3" turbo back exhaust
Link ecu with the extra 4 injectors
Custom intake manifold made from a modded Honda manifold
No AC

 

I dont think the 2554 is going to be very happy trying to hit 300whp, it just isnt large enough....my .02

 

I was thinking of having the wheel clipped and housing ported or should i just got with a bigger turbo. If so what size whould do it? I am going to have 2 setups on my link one for 250whp and one for 300whp there going to be done on a dyno at a friends shop.

what size are your injectors?

 

Way too small.. I'd say get a GT2871R or a T3 60 Trim or bigger! I've had over a dozen different setups all over 300hp.

 

The injector size im not sure on they are the ones flying Miata gives you for the 99 fm kit with the link ecu I have 8 injectors total with 2 fuel rails. I spent a good amount of time looking at turbos last night. I think im going to with the gt2871r so that I don’t have to go and have a new down pipe made.
