oil cooler question
i am seeing how the oil cooler would need an inlet and outlet, so i was wondering would i be able to run one tee'd of to the turbo/oil cooler and the other one just to the oil cooler? or would i have to tap somewhere else to provide oil to the turbo?
so i see you have to tap the block for oil through the oil pressure sender. i was planning on buying a tuner toys fitting which i read can be used, is this how it would be used?

If you have an early engine (all 1.6s and some NA 1.8s) then there are dedicated feed ports to take oil and coolant to feed the turbo. Both are on the exhaust side of the block, all the way back near the bellhousing, and are plugged with bolts.
We'd be able to be more specific if we knew what year your car was, such as by reading your signature.
As to oil coolers, assuming a stock block, those need to be taken from and returned to the oil filter location. This is the only point in the system where you can divert the flow of oil both out of and back into the engine.
sorry the car is a 97. is my drawing acurate? i was reading in the site that there is another port on the bottom would i be able to also connect an oil tempt guage from there or would it be better to tee it off right before the turbo ??
