Default GB: Aeromotive Miata Front Splitter - NOW WITH PICTURES

The splitter is modeled after the track-tested TDR splitter without the indentation in the middle. This provides more surface area for better aero. It is constructed of 3/16" thick ABS textured plastic. This splitter comes with all hardware needed which includes nylon nuts and bolts for installation. It will fit under the OEM front bumper without the front spoiler. Only 5 people is needed to get in this run.

1-5 people = $85 SHIPPED
6+ = $80 shipped

If you get a pic of what it looks like on a NA then i might be down for this. Does this go under the OEM front lip or does it go in place of the OEM lip?

It goes under the oem front lip. Looks like the TDR lip without the indentation.

Ok, so it goes under that R style spoiler, like in the picture?
If so, I'm in. Add my name to the list.

Yes it does.

It may fit under the stock bumper and even the NB cars. I will check once I get the first production model.

Sounds good. I have that R style spoiler on my car so I should be good. Thanks for putting me on the list.

It mounts right under the front lip.

It only goes back far enough to be bolted onto the front spoiler.

I was under the impression a front splitter needed to be at least to the steering rack to actually be effective, am i wrong?

Can one be made that goes further back than the bumper cover?

As above^

Since I installed my intercooler I had to remove the mouth piece of plastic and would really be down for a splitter that goes a bit further back even though I'll probably scratch the **** out of it.

Right now is version is only meant to be installed under the front oem spoiler. It doesn't go back after the bumper. I would say it is useful for protecting your front lip and looking nice. As far as aerodynamic purposes, my guess is as good as yours. I just want something to protect my front lip :-)

You might want to try CR.net for this GB. You'll probably get more people interested there than here.

Even though I have an NB, I get what you are saying. After laying under the car for the last couple of days doing the upgraded IC install, I was looking at a way to fill the gap between the bottom of the front lip and the undertray as I also had to remove the inner piece that formed that transition.

I'll probably just fab something up.
