and the plastic caps leak too easily. Might also get some for the car(s) if the deals are here to be had.

You can buy metal caps with o rings at walmart by the tire section. The company the makes that green goo that's made to go in bike tires also makes a quick repair kit for car tires. The caps are in the same section.

I have them on my car and they work great. I overinflated to 45psi (I semi hypermile) and haven't lost any pressure in 4 months.

 

do your walmart caps say "949" on them?
