Default looking to get an emanage persuade me to

so im now on the market for some kind of ems. my budget is very limited so i was thinking mspnp or the Greddy Emanage.

i have seen the emanage in work on some turbo s2000's i used to run a aem ems on my last turbo S but was a very pricey mod but i loved it.

what are some pro's and con's of having the emanage how easy is it to street tune with a good wb 02

Pro: I have one you can buy

Con: It is only an EMB

Supposedly it is easy to tune with the software (downloadable). I have only dilly dallied in it myself. I had the EMB attached to the car but never ran the car with it on there.

why is the megasquirt so much better though dont they both just piggyback and control the fuel system? i was looking at the Emanage more as a temporary unit till i can upgrade to a aem unit.

Well a MS can piggyback, or it can fully replace your comp. I would view the MS as the creme de la crop, despite its low price tag compared to AEM units. Its resolution far surpasses that of an Emanage.

but the Emanage is still fully capable of tuning a 5 or 10 psi miata without issues right its not like running and Emanage will cause my motor to blow if tuned properly.

while the ms is capable of whatever boost you want to run. And big injectors. And lots of other stuff.

like I said, no comparison

and technically the emanage can run larger injectors, I think it is up to 120% original size? I can't remember anymore. But yes the MS is chock full of option and will be the final ECU you shall ever need.

HAHA I'm one of those people that always jumps at the low prices

I have learned my lesson though: you can do it right from the start, or do it right later. Whether you want to dick around and spend more money in the long run is your choice

The question is, WHY?

Cost of emanage + cost of supra injectors and you're pretty close to the price of a diy ms.
