Default Anyone familiar with Probe brand pistons?

Our choices of forged pistons are fairly limited. Wiseco and Supertech primarily with JE and CP available but seemingly not used or talked about much. Ross has custom built them for a couple guys around here. Found another company that seems fairly common for US motors and used some with Honda/Acura.

Probe Industries. Anyone with US motor or Honda experience with these? They make three different series of pistons depending on the usage. Here's a link to an example of something similar to what we would need.

11885 - Honda B-Series -7.7cc Reverse Dome SRS Pistons

The prices for Honda stuff, reverse dish for FI seems to run around $350. If peoples experience with them in other vehicles is good they may be worth approaching about building something for our applications. In a quick email they were certainly open to looking at the need. They said a single custom set runs $100 to $120 per piston with prices dropping significantly if there is demand such as a group buy or long term activity.

Worth pursuing? Good company? Total crap?

Choice is good. I still recommend Wiseco and always will. Many reasons to, but the fact that they own and run the factory that forges their blanks in addition to the rest of manufacturing process they literally control the quality of their pistons from molten metal to finished piston. I don't know that any other company can make that claim.
