Wierd cell on adpatronic
On my current map i have a cell that is 0.00 for fuel at about 1500 rpm and 40 kpa. The value does not change at all when i either add or subtract percentages. When my car is revving in this area (map trace) the car seems great. no knock and is idleing smoothly at about 15xx rpm. I also have a couple of other issues like when entering 1900-2200 rpm the car just seems to want to die and bucks like crazy until i give it more gas and take off. Any advice or inputs would be great. thanks!

uhh you're adding and subtracting percentages from 0.00?
lets see... 100 X 0 = 0.
just type in a number similar to a number in another 40kpa cell and press enter.

just tried that myself: works fine. Are you running the old firmware or the new? (not that it matters probably)......weird.
as for the bucking in the low rpm, what fuel and ignition maps are you running?

well just checked. looks like i was able to change the cells. I guess i was just having a retarted moment. Yes the timing lock is still currently on in the basic setup tab in wari. should this be off?
Not sure, it's pretty weird hey. It does the same thing on my Mazda Protege with the TEN diagnostics pin grounded, so I am assuming it's an engine thing rather than an Adaptronic specific thing?
Bottom line; 10 degrees timing across the board is not cool.

I did take the timing lock off, and it seemed to rev up much smoother. Now when i put a number into that cell, lets say 1.17 it automatically goes down and switches to something like .8 Is this due to interpolation? Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the idle surge or idle hunt is what i believe it is called? The idle just seems to surge up and down a couple of hundred of rpms. You would think it has a massive cam in it by listening to it. Ive tried to play with the PID's and no matter what i change nothing happens. The afr at idle is around 13 when it seems to surge.
thanks for the help y8s. I also decided to completly remove the a/c system. Will this affect anything on adaptronic as far as idle or any other parts of adaptronic?
Sorry to bring this thread back up. But there is another cell on adaptronic that if i keep it revved on 2,000 rpm. that cell will just immediatly start to pull down to a really low number. Then it will start to buck and run really lean. There are values in the cell surrounding it. This only happens to the cell in to 2,000 rpm.
