Default Head Gasket options?

Guys I need help on what gasket to get. What advantages or disadvantages are there going with either a Cometic with a thickness of .010 or .040? Are there any other options i should look at other then Cometic? Whats working well for everyone else? I had a $20 felpro on my 500hp 4g63(with no problems) so $100 dollars for a stupid Cometic gasket erks me. I deffinetly want the right one. An official head gasket thread would be pretty beneficial.

Cometic is the only MLS gasket you will find (easily) for the 1.6. If your 4g63 had a MLS gasket stock then that is why the felpro one was also so cheap (made in mass qty). The choice is up to you in the end.

Just use a stock Mazda head gasket. I've never heard of one failing due to boost. Just make sure that the mating surfaces are flat and true and have the required surface finish on them. MLS gaskets need much smoother surfaces than the older composite gaskets.
