I have bought an emanage to go on my supercharged Mk1 (NA) 1.8. It will replace my current MSD and Powercard Pro. However everything I have read talks about fitting to earlier 1.6's. I have been told that fitting a Boomslang should solve some my problems identifying pin outs. I can get hold of a Boomslang eManage blue harness for Mk2.5 is there anyway to mod this to fit the earlier NA's?

 

You need to google for pinouts on the 96-97 and later ECUs. I think PLX Devices' website has the diagrams and connectors available in PDF format. As long as the connectors are the same, you'll just need to rearrange some wires.
