Hey guys ive read many threads saying it can/ cant be done,

can anyone clarify if i can put cops on my nb with an emu & if i do or dont need a bandaid of some sort to get it working & if i do need a bandaid what is it......

ive almost run in my new motor & want to put cops before i dyno it.....

can anyone help?

 

Just did it with my MSM with EMU.

I did have the Boundary Engineering Dwell Reducer though - no problem with it. Started on the 1st try

I have cops from a 01 Acura CL-S. works ever since i put them on.
just have to cut off the mounting hole in order to slide in.

 

hey musanovic, did you also use the dwell reducer? how did you hook them up? did you cut the wiring loom from another car?

For the Toyota COP - got the connector from this site:

For the MSM harness side - i just went to a electronics store and found some spades that will fit into coil pack harness connector.
This way - no cutting up or splicing of the harness is necessary - I can revert back to stock setting anytime I want - just in case something fouls up.

sorry about late response,
went to junk yard picked up 6 Coils with harness, and cut the monting bracket from the cops, it only has 3 wires so no need to worry which is which. if you decide to do it let me know i'll tell you which is which. i may have some pics at home but it is like the toyota ones just easier for me.
