Full synthetic is usually best in my opinion.Mobil 1 and Royal Purple are both good.

+1 on full synthetic. Redline, Penzoil and Amsoil also have good products.

Mobil 1.

Or, just any 75-90 gear oil.

Redline LightWeight ShockProof Gear Oil

I used to run the heavyweight, but my engine guy who also used to crew chief for an MX5 cup team suggested the lightweight was enough and that I would have less parasitic loss.

If you run a clutch type diff, all bets are off.

The shock-proof is too much.

my preferential hierarchy for 75w90:
motul
redline
amsoil
M1
dogshit
royal purple

Should I use the same stuff in the transfer case, or is that just distilled water?

Why use water when you have a 55-gallon barrel in your bedroom provided by your handball top boyfriend?

What do you like about it? I'm interested to hear what kind of feedback you've obtained from the rear end lubrication from the driver's seat. I'm more interested to see your oil analysis data.

+1 on LWS. I've been running it for 2-3 years now in the tranny and rear diff. Even if you drain it, it leaves a protective layer of smurf blood.

Goddamn it! I hate you! You always beat me to smart *** comments. I'm used to being the only smart *** on other forums. Still not used to you being superior on this forum. Of course I'm only late by about a day.

I've been running Royal Purple for over a year and haven't noticed anything (good or bad). So I guess that is good?
