Spark blowout
This term bothers me. Considering the valves are all closed when the plug fires, how can the spark be getting blownout?
If anything, the plug misfires due to the rich afr's under boost.

Yes! All better than spark blowout.
I searched the term on an neon srt forum and one guy says "yeah all that pressurized air coming into the combustion chamber blows the spark out before it can ignite the mix."
Those dodge 4 bangers must use some pretty neato valve timing tricks to pull off that one.
