I was doing my thing driving around today and saw some weird stuff on my oil pressure gauge.

Take a look at this video starting at the :30 mark. My gauge has a rolling graph of pressure. As you can see, when I lift, there are spikes in the pressure.

What's going on here?

 

not sure what your issue could be, but thats a cool *** gauge. never seen anything like that before

 

Probably VVT. as you slowly raise RPM (keeping load close to atmo) from off-idle, you'll probalby see it dip.
