What would be a fair price on a set of used JE pistons and forged rods?

Used for 2000 miles, pistons have new rings.

(I am not the seller, just interested in buying if the parts check out..)

 

I would never buy used engine parts. The engine was disassembled for a reason.

I would normally be with Savington on this, but sounds a bit too tempting, given the low mileage.

 

I've used many "seasoned" rods in the past, and used pistons a few times. Make sure the skirts aren't scuffed to hell and its still round with nice square ring lands. Taking them to a machine shop to have inspected is a must. What brand rods? JE's, at least in the rest of the automotive world, are decent pistons.

M-Tuned. Not sure if they are H-Beam, or I-beam..

Wait.. MTuned only makes H-Beam, right?

 

Especially if they're being sold 1 shy of a full set.
