Default What Ground Control spring rates to use with Koni Yellow shocks?

Hi

I need help setting up my suspension. Planning to stay with my Koni yellows and I only have stock springs in right now. Want to replace the stock springs with ground controls. I dont want to revalve the koni yellows or get the koni race. What would be the highest ground control spring rates i can run on the koni yellows? and whats recommended? I do 95% street driving and want to try some track and autocross next year. Thanks!

If you revalve, you can run whatever springs you want, as long as they match the revalve.
I can't read.

You'll find people saying you can run as high as 500lb springs but personally I would stay under 400lbs because their valving is not that high.

I talked to brian from ggoodwinracing and he says gc 375/250 is best rates for the koni yellow shocks. I dont want to revalve, because it seems like too much trouble and time and more money. I want to test out this setup first, then later on maybe i can upgrade to XIDAS or something better if i really need it. But i think Koni yellows + GC should be much better than my current setup which is Koni yellows +stock springs.

Just make sure you get new bump stops. Ground Control sells them as well.

If you're set on going GC, I believe their standard 375/250 come in 6"/7" lengths, which is 1" shorter for each than I would prefer if I ran those rates and didn't want to drop the car a bunch. I have Koni yellows with the Koni sleeves, 450/300 springs in 7"/8" length.

I think GC always ships 7" springs, unless you explicitly ask.

I did that too:

Koni sleeves, 7" 375 front, 8" 250 rear. 2.25 --> 2.5" adaptors, Energy Suspension top isolator.
