Default Which Mazda rear end has a final drive of 3.94ish?

I'm looking to do an interesting project mating a VW front end and a Miata rear end.

I thought I remembered that there is a Miata rear end with the final drive being close to 3.94.

Thanks for the Noob help.

Sorry for the noob-ism, but which years and what models had the 6 speed?

99 to 05 cars had an option of 6 speed
99 to 03 cars that had a 6 speed, came with 3.9. later ones 4.1 (apparently)

they aren't cheap or easy to find because it's a Torsen limited slip with market value of anywhere from $400 to 800

The 04-05 MSM had the 4.1. I don't know if the non-MSM 04-05 had the 4.1 or the 3.9.
