I want a purple one though. That is my main criteria.

tech the car 1 week before

then lock it in your garage and then give the key to your mother and tell her not to return it for 1 week.

 

That thing wouldn't even bolt up. Get the rennenmetal one, it bolts to the stock mounting holes. Go buy some paint and paint it purple.

 

But that would remove all the pre-event drame :(

Im sure they're not spec, but whats the word on woven straps? Just thinking weight savings.

 

+1 on rennenmetal. I've had several through my hands and they have all worked fine. I've got the front and rears on my car, plus the hard top brackets.

Of course, you could buy the ebay ones and sawzall to fit...

I have a set on my car. Install is easy and they're very solid.

 

Just sawzall a hole in the frame.
