Default ebay tow hook?

I want tow hooks for my track days. Yes I am going to to do some HPDEs.

I want a purple one though. That is my main criteria.

Is this thing fail?

Just get two sets and put one on top of the other, that'll do it. Also, I foresee track day carnage.

Some dork at work has one on his civic...he says it's a password JDM one. I'm like, "what a great investment! Is that so we can pull your car out when it gets stuck in the snow?"

Get these instead. Less money, better quality, proven.

piece of advice on doing track days

tech the car 1 week before

then lock it in your garage and then give the key to your mother and tell her not to return it for 1 week.

That thing wouldn't even bolt up. Get the rennenmetal one, it bolts to the stock mounting holes. Go buy some paint and paint it purple.

+1 on rennenmetal. I've had several through my hands and they have all worked fine. I've got the front and rears on my car, plus the hard top brackets.

Of course, you could buy the ebay ones and sawzall to fit...

I have a set on my car. Install is easy and they're very solid.
