Default oil pan gasket issue

Im in the middle of replacing my rear main. Ive had a small leak that started after i went turbo and replaced it aince i was doing the clutch. I assumed that i might have messed up the install since it wasnt leaking before.
Installing the new seal i notice air bubbles coming from 6 oclock under the seal where the pan come together with the engine. I think this is where the oil was leaking from. Would i be able to loosen a few bolts closests to the leak and use gasket maker to fix problem?

I was gona try to cram it in using finger or something.

The rear main seal is leaking or the half moon gasket for the pan?

I think its the half moon portion. Pressing in the rear main i saw air bubbles coming out of it from the middle. Im not sure if cramming gasket maker along the seam will stop it.

It's a crappy fix, but it might work. The fun part comes when we tell you you can't replace that seal without pulling the engine

this is where i saw the bubbles. Theres a notch in the middle and it looks like its from there.
Yea i know , i dont have a lift or time currently for that. It would have to be in summer when i dont have class.

Yeah that little notch is to locate the seal on the rear main seal bracket. Same on the front one. They're the biggest pain when sealing the oil pan. That and getting the baffle to sit in it's notch.

If you don't have time to pull the engine, I'd just smear sealant on it, although you risk ruining your clutch. If it looked fine before, I'd assume it'd be fine if it didn't work though, you're not making anything worse. Just clean it real well with alcohol beforehand.
