Default How hot is too hot AIT on non-intercooled kit?

I'm curious as to what the limits are that people consider for AIT temps for non-intercooled boosted Miatas. How high of AIT and what boost levels?

The AIT limit should render boost level irrelevant.

AIT is your limiting factor, not boost level. It doesn't matter if you have 100psi of boost at 80AIT, or 5psi of boost at 1000AIT - the AIT is what matters, not the boost level. And that quickly becomes dependant on turbo, outside conditions, car specifics and build, etc. Basically, stuff that is as ridiculously impossible to answer as the question of "How much horsepower will 20psi give me?!?"

When I was running non-intercooled, I would never go over ~200F AIT personally (regardless of boost level, mind you). YMMV.
